Unique challenges on this project included design of the building members to handle the dynamic ride forces, coordination of steel with ride elements, and an extremely tight design schedule. |
Universal Studios Skull Island: Reign of Kong Ride
Orlando, Florida Haris performed all steel design for this amusement ride enclosure at Universal Studios theme park. The project required extensive coordination with the architect and creative team in order to support large thematic loads, hanging platforms, and catwalks. |
Verson Crane Building
Chicago, Illinois An 800-foot long crane building for manufacturing large presses for the automobile industry. Two 500-ton cranes are at the west bay and two 415-ton cranes are at the east bay to lift the presses' weight up to 750 tons. Three-dimensional computer modeling was used to accurately analyze and economically design the structures. |
